June 17, Boston

Started the day as early as I could, there was only 4 hours of sun from 7am.

The start of the Freedom Trail was harder to find than I thought, in Fallout 4 there is a plaque on the floor that you can follow – in reality it’s the Visitor Centre!

The idea of the Freedom trail is an excellent one – a 2.5 mile walking tour of the city, that takes you past all the historical monuments. You can stop off in all the museums if you want, or just keep going. The trail is made of red bricks and apart from a few places that have been dug up by road works, goes the entire way.

I finished the trail by 11:30 and went to Starbucks to cool off. Afterwards I walked to Best Buy to try and get a microphone for the camera, but annoyingly it was about the only thing they didn’t stock! Oh well.

I went into town to eat and then chilled out at the hostel, FaceTime with Sarah and caught up with all the photos so far.
